Why did you start following the Satvic lifestyle? 

In December 2018,  I came across Subah's videos on YouTube. Watching the videos was really an eye opening experience for me. At that time, I was not at a very good condition in terms of my health. I was overweight and felt internally unhealthy. After watching the video I felt motivated, but, I couldn't make all the changes all of a sudden as I had a very busy schedule. But, I decided to follow the 16 hour fasting rule at least. I was still eating non-veg food, smoking and consuming alcohol at that time, but I was doing all this in the 8 hour window. Within 2 months of following intermittent fasting, I saw great changes in my health. So, when I heard about Subah's workshop in Mumbai, I decided to go for it. I wondered if watching a video and doing intermittent fasting can bring these many benefits to me then what would attending the workshop could do. 

 

What did you start doing? Tell us about your healing journey.

I was already doing intermittent fasting for the last 2 months when I went for the Workshop in May. After the workshop, my complete perspective on health and food was changed. I felt this motivation in me to change my health for better. I decided then & there that I will be following this lifestyle for rest of my life. From the very next day, I started following everything religiously, I did enema, applied wet packs, did sun gazing and changed my diet to vegetarian food. With time and perseverance, I was able to quit coffee, tea, non veg and alcohol. Sun gazing helped a lot in improving my will power and keeping me on track. Now, I don't consume any of these things. My diet is clean and plant based and I wonder why wasn't I living like this till now. It feels so good. 

 

What are the benefits you received by following the Satvic lifestyle?
By God's grace, I wasn't suffering from any disease. My only problem was my weight and the tiredness I felt throughout the day. I have been following the Satvic Lifestyle for 6 months now and I have lost 10 kg. I feel physically light and active. The quality of my skin has improved and I feel energetic all day long. My wife Chandana had also been following this with me and she also reversed all of her health problems within in these 6 months. She was suffering from sleep apnea and high blood pressure, that have been cured now. Even our daughter is motivated to follow this along with us. 

 

Apart from the physical changes, have you noticed any mental or spiritual changes?

Yes, my focus and productivity level has improved drastically. I used to love coffee, but, I will say  that I never felt this good on coffee as I feel now. Overall I feel much calmer and peaceful & I am able to manage stress & work pressure much better in  the office. 

 

Can you imagine a world without diseases & medicines? What do you picture?

Yes, I believe it is possible. But, to be honest it will not happen all of a sudden, it will take time and a lot of unlearning. Society's thoughts are restricted by false knowledge and misconceptions formed by mass media. When I talk to people they are not very receptive. Some listens, some don't.I talked to my parents my wife's parents & could only make my father follow intermittent fasting. It is a difficult change but a possible one. And, if this happens, it will be a world like olden times. Quality of life will improve drastically and we will be able to reverse the damage that has been caused to our health and Mother Nature's health.
