Rashmi improves TSH levels & lost 7 kg

Why did you start following the Satvic lifestyle? 

10 years ago, after giving birth to my son, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism and was immediately put on medication. It started with 25 mg pill that I had to take every morning & soon it reached to 75 mg. I was told by the doctors that I have to take the medicines for the rest of my life to keep my TSH levels in control. I was not much aware or concerned about my health at that moment so I started taking the pills without any questions and maybe because of that a few months ago I was diagnosed with PCOD. I was told that PCOD is a lifelong disease & in order to cure it, I have to lose my weight. While searching for a natural way to reverse my diseases I came across Subah's video. After hearing about Subah's own healing journey, I felt inspired to learn more about satvic lifestyle and decided to attend the workshop.

 

What did you start doing? Tell us about your healing journey.

Honestly, I wasn't able to do 16-hour fasting because of my schedule. Instead, I have been doing 14-hour fasting religiously. I did sunbathing, took enema & changed my diet. I removed dairy, oil & all sorts of processed food items from my diet. Now, I eat more fruits & vegetables & take one grain meal in a day. I also bought clay ware to get authentic satvic flavor in my food. I have started doing regular yoga as well. I would say I did not follow everything 100% but I am trying my best to reach there.

 

What are the benefits you received by following the Satvic lifestyle?

The very first change I experienced was the tremendous increase in my energy levels. I am a mother of a 10 year old and my daily routine involves a lot of running around & doing household chores. Due to this reason, I used to experience constant tiredness & body pain but now it's all gone. I have also seen improvements in my TSH levels & have reduced the medicine dosage to half. My weight is reduced by 7 kilos & my PCOD is also getting better. 

 

Apart from the physical changes, have you noticed any mental or spiritual changes?

Being a mother is a very hectic job. You have to constantly direct & guide your kid and believe me it can be very irritating sometimes. Earlier, I used to angry over small matters & could have easily yelled at my son for doing something wrong, but now I have become much calmer & relaxed. Now, if my son does something wrong, instead of yelling at him I talk to him politely. I would like to share a recent incident, a few days ago my son came home & said, "Mumma sorry, please do not scold me, I have lost my watch" and to my own surprise I did not feel the slightest bit of anger or irritation. And, somewhere I feel these qualities are transferring to my son too. 

 

Can you imagine a world without diseases & medicines? What do you picture?

Yes, it is absolutely possible. For us our world consists of our friends, family & relatives and if we can inspire them to follow this lifestyle they in turn they will inspire their friends & family. We need to start small and begin with our own selves, this way one day we will change the entire world.
