I always thought yoga is only for people with perfect bodies who can do all the asanas easily. I knew I was not fit enough to practice all the difficult asanas, and that's why I always stayed away from yoga. All of this changed with the 21 day Yoga Sadhana. I can't believe that within 21 days I was able to practice bakasana (crow pose). Not just that, I can now do a headstand also (almost perfectly) and this is a dream come true for me.The yoga sadhana brought out my spiritual side that I had no idea about. I realised how attracted I had been to the materialistic world. I learnt how to detach myself from all the ego, anger and fear within me. Somewhere in the journey, I have also developed respect for all creatures in nature.

I was always this person who would wake up at 9-10 am and It was the biggest Yoga Sadhana to get up early on winter mornings. During the 21 Day Yoga Sadhana every day was a new learning experience and this motivated me to wake up early. Mummy and I would join every day and learn so many asanas. I am more flexible and I have increased my arm and core strength which I always lacked. still can't believe that a person like me has been able to continue the practise regularly even after the Yoga Sadhana ended.

I always wanted to know the 'Why' behind everything I do. I really loved the knowledge sessions where detailed understanding of the 8 limbs of ashtanga yoga was taught. These are such important principles, that I feel, everyone who practises yoga should know about them. Also, even though I signed up for a yoga workshop, it was so much more than just 'yoga'. We learnt about many healthy habits over the course of the workshop, and because the 'Why' was always clear, I was able to incorporate them into my life. Today, I make sure to do my 16 hour fast, practice pranayama & yoga on an empty stomach and have my ash gourd juice every morning. I also take out one day of the week to do a full day fast. As a result of all these habits, I have become much more calm and I don't feel anxious like I would earlier.

I used to watch a lot of yoga videos on Youtube, but the detail and clarity I received from attending this workshop is something I never found anywhere. By the middle of the Yoga Sadhana, I was even able to do inversions and other asanas that I thought I could never do. It has not only given me physical but also mental strength. The 21-day Yoga Sadhana was SO MUCH FUN! I connected with the community and really enjoyed the meditations, kirtans, quizzes, and so many other elements of the workshop. In all the yoga workshops attended earlier, the teacher always forced us to do asanas, and since we could not do it, it made us feel demotivated. On the contrary, in this workshop, nothing was forced at all. Radhika always focussed on going at ease, at your own pace. She said that there will be a stage when you will be able to do all the asanas. Hearing this was very comforting and relieving. After 21 days, I was actually able to do the asanas which I was unable to practice on Day 1!

My 54 year old mother did the yoga sadhana with me. She had a finger bone issue and couldn't fold her fingers. Believe me, she had never done yoga before but after the sadhana my mother told me that she no longer feels any pain in her fingers. 21 days ago, I couldn't even imagine doing yoga consistently, let alone getting into postures like halasana or uttanasana.
