FAQs
What is a juice fast?
A juice fast is a period of time where you consume only fresh juices, smoothies, and soups - no solid food is allowed. This gives your digestive system a break, flushes out toxins, and can help you lose weight, improve your skin, and even reduce cravings!
Is it essential for me to do the fast, or can I just attend to learn about fasting?
We believe the true value of this workshop comes from actually participating in the fast alongside everyone else, so we highly recommend doing the fast with the rest of the community.
How will I feel during the 3-day fast?
A fast is a cleansing process. As your body throws out the toxins sitting inside and gets used to the new routine, it is common to experience some symptoms such as headaches, nausea, vomiting, acidity and weakness. This is a temporary discomfort. Once your body is cleansed through fasting, you will experience abundant energy and mental clarity.
Is juice fasting safe?
Yes, fasting is generally safe, but there are a few exceptions. If you are currently taking medication for chronic diseases, please consult your doctor before enrolling for the fast. Additionally, we advise the following groups to strictly refrain from joining the Juice Fast: Pregnant and breastfeeding mothers, children below age 14, those who are underweight, individuals on medication who haven't consulted their doctor about fasting

Christina Francis
She has led workshops for thousands of people, guiding them on their path to healing. A certified Yoga Acharya, Christina now lives in Australia. She also uses her expertise in journalism, media, and communication to create various educational content at Satvic Movement.

Harshvardhan & Subah Saraf
Renowned health educators, change-makers, and co-founders of Satvic Movement. Both suffered from chronic diseases since a young age and overcame them naturally. Their healing journeys inspired a mission to share this wisdom with the world.
Subah Saraf healed herself from multiple chronic conditions using nature cure principles. She went on to study this science under esteemed Indian masters, and today, she passionately shares this knowledge in simple, practical ways to help others heal.
Harshvardhan Saraf struggled with chronic sinusitis and skin issues for years. When conventional treatments failed, he turned to diet and lifestyle changes—which miraculously transformed his health. This life-changing experience sparked his mission to help others reclaim their health naturally.

Akshay Jain & Radhika Gupta
Radhika Gupta is the Head of Yogic Sciences at Satvic Movement. She leads yoga workshops that have impacted over 100,000 participants. With a background in psychology, she beautifully blends modern science with ancient scriptures to help individuals grow mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Akshay Jain is an inner-work teacher at Satvic Movement. He conducts kriyas, guided meditations, and deep inner experiences within the Yoga Wing. Having attended 12 inner-work programs and practiced for hundreds of hours, he creates safe and powerful spaces for people to explore deep states of relaxation, healing, and self-awareness.
Together, Radhika and Akshay form a dynamic duo that inspires lasting transformation through holistic practices rooted in ancient wisdom and modern understanding.
